Salmon Cakes


What You Need:

  • 9 ounce can boneless, skinless wild caught salmon, drained
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tablespoon (12g) quinoa flakes
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 Tablespoon coconut oil, for frying


What To Do:

Step 1: In a mixing bowl, add salmon and shred with a fork.

Step 2: Add egg, quinoa flakes, chives and lemon juice to salmon.

Step 3: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Step 4: While heating, use hands to form salmon mixture into 4 patties (roughly 80g each)

Step 5: Add cakes to skillet and cook about 3-4 minutes per side.

Makes 4 cakes.
