Avocado Brownies

Avocado Brownies

What you’ll need:

  • 4 oz avocado
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened dutch-processed cocoa powder*
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda

 

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Step 2: In a blender/food processor combine avocado, applesauce, maple syrup and vanilla.

Step 3: Transfer to a large bowl and whisk in eggs.

Step 4: Add in coconut flour, cocoa powder, sea salt and baking soda and stir to combine.

Step 5: Grease an 8 x 8 inch baking dish with coconut oil spray and add batter.

Step 6: Place in oven to bake for 25 minutes.

Step 7: Allow to cool for 20 minutes before cutting into 16 brownies.
